Hey,
I'm Ellie McBride

I'm a problem solver, systems geek, and big believer in making life and business simpler. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been all about creating structure. These days that’s through creating smart systems for other small business owners, being a thoughtful leader on Pendleton’s City Council, and doing my best to be an engaged part of my community. If you’re here, you probably care about making things better, too. Let’s connect where it matters most for you:

A bit about me

I'm tenacious, direct, and personable (read: super chatty). I am at my happiest when kept busy and challenged. I try to create order from the chaos around me and create more simplicity and ease in everything I do.

Oregon Native

Life has taken me all over.I studied at Portland State University, spent time in Pisa, Italy as an au pair, and lived in Belfast, Northern Ireland for 7 years (where my wonderful husband is from). Now, I’m back in Pendleton, Oregon reconnecting with the place where I was born and raised while bringing all the experiences and lessons from my travels home with me.

Systems Oriented

I’m that weird girl, Monica Geller type, who is wired for systems and obsessed with making things run smoother—whether it’s a business, a community project, or just my own daily routine. To me good systems aren’t about rigid rules, they’re really about freedom, clarity, and making life way easier.

Fun Facts

☕ I take my coffee a little too seriously and start most days with a homemade oat milk flat white✨ I’ve seen Gilmore Girls approximately 7,392 times. I could prob quote entire episodes at this point!🌎 I do my best to be eco conscious. Whether it be buying secondhand, growing my own food, or learning to sew to upcycle things — I'm all about it

In February 2025, I became a Pendleton City Councilor

Pendleton is at it's best when we focus on sustainable, community-driven growth. My aim is for it to be a place where small businesses are supported, neighborhoods are walkable, and city decisions prioritize the people who live here. As one of your 8 city councilors, I strive to ensure our local government is transparent and forward-thinking while crafting policies that improve daily life of all of us lucky enough to call Pendleton home.My goals are simple: to help create a Pendleton that works better for everyone.
